Each COPA Phunnel is created by hand on a potter's wheel and is therefore a unique piece. For this, we use a special German stoneware, which we send to our manufactory in Spain to produce these ceramic masterpieces in a strictly limited edition. While most manufacturers use molds and press or pour the material into shape, our COPA Phunnel is created through the use of years of experience, and a spinning potter's wheel. A difference like night and day. The way of manufacture has a direct impact on the performance of the material, as the characteristic features such as heat storage and distribution are further optimized.

Air inclusions and breaks due to thermal stress are thus avoided, and you receive a better product. Moreover, we use a German Stone Ware Clay from the Eifel, which has perfect thermal properties. It is easy to clean and is also characterized by small red dots in the stoneware, letting you know that a different material is used. Each COPA Phunnel is fired twice.
