600 puffs is a typical benchmark for a disposable vape with 2 ml of liquid. For pod systems, the figure counts per pod or for several pods combined. How many puffs you actually get depends on puff length, power and liquid volume.
The number on the pack is a guideline for usage. First check whether it applies to one device, one pod or the entire package contents.
| Type and example | Puff rating | What it refers to |
|---|---|---|
| Disposable vape, such as Elfbar 600 or SKE Crystal TB600 | Up to 600 puffs with 2 ml | One device; used up once the liquid or battery runs out |
| Single 2 ml prefilled pod, such as ELFA | Up to 600 puffs per pod | One pod, not the lifespan of the base device |
| DOJO Twist 2 in 1 with two pods | Up to 1,600 puffs in total | Both inserted pods combined |
| Big Puff with a 30,000 puff rating | Up to 30,000 puffs | Check the model, power mode and any extra liquid reservoirs that are counted |
| Refillable pod system | No fixed total puff count | Fill, coil, power and your own puffing style determine the range |
“Up to” is no promise that you will reach that number. Nor can 2 ml simply be converted into 600 puffs.
Puffs simply means draws. Each one is a single draw on the mouthpiece in which the coil vaporizes liquid. The puff rating describes the product's range under certain conditions. A short and a long puff both count as one, but they use different amounts of liquid and energy.
The pack doesn't always say which puff length and power level the number was measured with. Without that, two puff counts are only partly comparable.

Above all, longer puffs and higher power shorten the range of a fill. What matters:
Draw style and airflow are tied to the setup. MTL, RDL and DTL explains the differences.
You can't derive a fixed number of days from this. As a pure worked example, 600 puffs actually counted give six days at 100 puffs a day and three days at 200 puffs a day. The 100 and 200 are example figures, not a usage recommendation.
The calculation only helps if the puff count you actually reach is known. The number on the pack alone gives you only a rough plan, because your puffing style may differ from the conditions behind the puff rating.
A stronger power level uses more liquid and battery at the same puff length. On the Arcbear Pro 15000 base device you can choose ECO at 12 W or BOOST at 20 W. The 20 W level makes the same amount of liquid shrink faster.
You can't calculate an exact puff count from the wattage ratio: coil control and puff length play a part. If a model lists different puff counts for two modes, always compare the same mode.

A big puff count doesn't automatically mean a single tank holds that much liquid. A system can count several pods or extra liquid reservoirs. The figure may also apply only to a particular power mode. Check the package contents and total fill volume before comparing it with another vape.
For nicotine-containing products in Germany, Section 14 of the Tabakerzeugnisgesetz (Tobacco Products Act) limits refill containers to 10 ml and disposable e-cigarettes or disposable cartridges to 2 ml. There is no legal upper limit of 600 puffs in it. The puff count alone proves neither the fill volume nor the legal classification of a model.
The shopping page for these devices is Big Puffs. This page is about understanding the number.
A prefilled pod runs empty, while the rechargeable base device stays. With ELFA, the puff rating is up to 600 puffs per 2 ml pod. With DOJO Twist 2 in 1, up to 1,600 puffs count for the two inserted pods combined. The DOJO Twist base device on its own contains no liquid.
Prefilled or open pod compares the designs. Refillable pods have no fixed total puff count over their lifespan.

A puff counter counts puffs already taken. It doesn't measure how many are still possible. A battery icon or percentage display, in turn, shows charge level, not remaining puffs. Some devices also have a liquid indicator; it isn't an exact prediction of the remaining puffs either.
The devices pictured show different designs and displays. The percentage on the Arcbear base device is a battery level, not a puff counter.
On a rechargeable model, an empty battery is a reason to charge, not automatically to swap the pod. If the liquid is used up or the taste stays burnt, stop using the pod. Only charge a device if it is designed for it; disposables without a charging port are not opened or recharged.
Troubleshooting is covered in Pod tastes burnt. In Germany, used-up vapes don't belong in household waste because of their electronics and battery. How to dispose of a vape properly explains the return route.
For disposables such as Elfbar 600 or SKE Crystal TB600, up to 600 puffs is a typical benchmark. The actual number varies with the device, puff length and power. There is no fixed conversion from ml to puffs.
If 600 puffs are actually reached, they equal six days at 100 puffs a day, or three days at 200 puffs. These are worked examples, not a usage recommendation. The number on the pack alone doesn't say how long the vape lasts for you.
No. In Germany, Section 14 of the Tabakerzeugnisgesetz limits the volume of nicotine-containing disposable e-cigarettes and disposable cartridges to 2 ml, not the puff count. For nicotine-containing refill containers, the maximum is 10 ml.
It's a guideline for the particular model and its conditions. Check which power mode applies and whether several pods or extra liquid reservoirs are included in the total.
If each pod is rated for up to 600 puffs, two pods add up to up to 1,200 puffs on paper. The actual range of each pod still depends on how you puff.
A normal puff counter counts puffs taken. A battery percentage shows the remaining charge. Neither value measures the remaining puffs.
