Four building blocks, one liquid
A longfill is flavour in a larger bottle that you top up with base and, if needed, with nicotine shots. With Sique, for example, it is 5 ml of flavour in a 60 ml bottle. Individual flavours are highly concentrated and are never used neat, but always diluted with base.
With bases and shots, the ratio of PG to VG counts. According to SC, the nicotine shot should have the same ratio as your base.
| Building block | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Flavour in the mixing bottle | Longfills, for example from Dinner Lady or Dr. Frost |
| Flavour for dosing yourself | Flavours from Aroma Syndikat, SC or Sique |
| Base liquid | Bases, filterable by ratio |
| Nicotine for your liquid | Nicotine shots in 10 ml bottles |
Frequently asked questions about mixing
How much base belongs in a longfill?
The manufacturer specifies that; the figure is stated on the bottle and on the product. Stick to the recommended mixing ratio.
Why are nicotine shots only available in 10 ml?
In Germany, nicotine-containing liquids may only be sold in containers of up to 10 ml. For larger quantities you combine several shots.
How long does a mixed liquid have to rest?
That depends on the flavour. Many manufacturers recommend a steeping time; the figure is stated in the product description.
