Hookain Atlas · Overview and participation
Participation terms and explanation
Your archive stays comprehensible.
The Hookain Atlas is your personal archive: what you have already had, how often and what not yet, sorted by brand and series. At the start it covers shisha tobacco; more chapters will follow.
Version 2026-10-01-kurz
How to read your archive
Series, cards and dates in one place
You see product, series, image and date at a glance. Series connect products of one brand, for shisha tobacco per pack size; the Atlas helps you find them again.
Brands and series
A series groups products of one brand that belong together — for shisha tobacco, all flavours of one pack size.
Card levels
The card level is a presentation level of the card. It is not a call to buy.
Brand overview
The brand overview helps you find brands and series again.
From transaction to entry
Every state comes with an understandable context
The view clearly distinguishes a confirmed entry, a pre-note and details that have not been recorded yet.
Confirmed
A confirmed entry is visible in your archive and can be read with product, series, image and date.
Pre-noted
A pre-note shows that details are still being checked. It is not yet a confirmed entry.
Not recorded yet
Without confirmed details no entry is created. The slot stays recognisable as not recorded yet.
Delivery and correction
Delivery and correction data can change. They are checked in their respective state.
How the Atlas calculates: an entry appears at the earliest 17 days after the complete order has been shipped. That is the configured waiting period of this archive and not a statutory period.
Variants and sizes
Differing pack sizes are considered separately and kept as their own series so the overview does not mix sizes.
Card, counter and date
The item counter names the visible confirmed entries of a card. The date places the entry in time.
An entry in context
A state stays recognisable as a state
Your archive separates the details of a product from your personal entry. That keeps the assignment and your confirmed state understandable later on.
Entry points (EP)
They summarise the recorded data points of an entry and help you place your confirmed state.
No free-text notes today
Images and existing assignments help you find things again. Your own free-text notes are currently not part of the archive.
A deliberate decision
Participation is voluntary.
Participation is available to logged-in accounts aged 18 and over in the Germany sales channel for the shisha tobacco starting area. Ordering and the account remain usable without participation.
- You reach this explanation via the words “Hookain Atlas” in the sentence next to the checkbox – in your account, at registration and at checkout.
- You can tick or untick the checkbox at any time before submitting.
- With the checkbox you also declare that you are at least 18 years old.
- In your account a switch ends the display and any further recording.
- A newsletter or push consent is not part of the participation.
- On a substantial change no earlier consent is assumed: until you agree again in your account, the Atlas shows nothing and records nothing new. You can also end your participation there.
Without a login, or once participation has ended, the Atlas area stays hidden.
Private in your account
Which details belong to your archive?
Your archive relates to your account and your participation decision. It assigns confirmed entries to the visible details such as product, series, image, date, card level and item counter.
Not public
Your archive is private. It does not appear as a public profile and is not shown to other customers.
No public sharing
Participation activates neither a ranking nor a publication of your entries.
Controller
Hookain Onlineshop GmbH Grüner Brunnenweg 146 50827 Köln Germany Email: kontakt@hookain.de Phone: 0221 999 88 112Legal basis of the processing
We maintain your Atlas archive only because you expressly want it. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give with the checkbox during registration or in your customer account.
For the archive we use details from your orders (which product, which series, when shipped) and assign them to your account. This is where your entries, card levels, item counters as well as notes for complete series and brands come from. There is no analysis for advertising purposes, no disclosure to third parties and no public display.
You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons – with a switch in your customer account or by email to us. The withdrawal takes effect only for the future; your orders and your account remain unaffected.
Retention and deletion
We store your Atlas entries for as long as you participate. If you delete your customer account, we delete all Atlas data together with the account.
If you withdraw your participation, we no longer show your archive and record no new entries. We delete your previous entries immediately on request; a short email to us is enough.
We keep the record of your consent (time, text version, withdrawal) for as long as your account exists, because we have to be able to prove that you consented (Art. 7(1) GDPR). Statutory retention obligations for orders and invoices apply independently of the Atlas.
Questions about participation
Answered briefly
Do I have to participate in order to place an order?
No. Ordering and the account work without participation.
Where do I see the terms before my decision?
Via the link “Hookain Atlas” in the sentence next to the checkbox – in your account, at registration and at checkout.
What happens when I end it?
The display and any further recording end. Existing entries stay stored.
Is my archive public?
No. It is private and is not shown to other customers.
Do new products retroactively belong to my old state?
No. A valid earlier state stays recognisable as the state of that time.
Can I add my own notes?
Not yet. Your own free-text notes are currently not part of the archive.
