Multi-hole or phunnel?
On the multi-hole head the air is drawn through the holes in the bottom; molasses can therefore run downwards. A phunnel instead has a central, raised opening. Some model names exist in both designs, so pay attention to the specification multi-hole or phunnel.
Which head suits your attachment?
For foil you need a rim over which you can stretch it tightly. For an HMD, diameter and contact surface must be right. Capacity and diameter differ from model to model; the exact values are stated on the respective head.
Keep the openings free while filling and let the head cool down before cleaning. If you are still choosing between designs, the Head Finder guides you through the differences.
