The base device is the lasting part of a prefilled pod system. It contains the battery and the seat into which the filled pod is pushed. When the pods are used up, the device generally stays in service.
What matters
- Series: every system has its own pods; the device only suits the series it was built for, such as Arcbear, ELFA or Crown Switch.
- Colour: many series come in several shades, from gold and white to Shadow Chrome.
- Delivery: with or without a pod, depending on the item.
The manufacturers range from Arcbear and ELFA through Elf Bar and SKE Crystal to HQD, Avoria and Vaporesso. Anyone replacing a device looks at the series name first. Charging port and battery size are given on the respective product page.
