The SKE Crystal Edge Base Device is the reusable battery unit of the Crystal Edge system. It works with a 2 ml empty pod in the device and a prefilled 10 ml pod that passes the liquid to the empty pod contact-free. This keeps the system compact and lasts for many draws without any need to refill. The draw is MTL (cheek draw) with fixed airflow. This version has a blue casing.
Battery and charging
The base device contains an 800 mAh battery. It is charged via USB-C. The battery is part of the device and stays in use when you change the pod.
Pods and compatibility
The base device is only compatible with the Crystal Edge system. This includes the SKE Crystal Edge empty pod with 2 ml and mesh coil as well as the prefilled SKE Crystal Edge pod with 10 ml. The pods sit in the device via a magnetic dock and can be changed quickly. Pods from other systems, such as the Crystal Plus series, do not fit. Operation
The device has draw activation: you draw on the mouthpiece and it heats up by itself. There is no fire button. The airflow is fixed, so there is nothing for you to adjust. That makes it easy to use, even if you are new to pod systems.
Getting started
- Charge the base device via USB-C.
- Insert the 2 ml empty pod into the device.
- Push on the prefilled 10 ml pod until it sits in the magnetic dock.
- Wait a few minutes so that the mesh coil becomes saturated.
- Draw on the mouthpiece and the draw activation starts the device.

You need a 2 ml empty pod and a prefilled 10 ml pod from the Crystal Edge series. Both are available as separate items.
Can I refill the pod?
No. The 10 ml pod is a replacement pod and is not intended to be refilled. When it is empty, you swap it for a new one.
