Dampflion longfills explained briefly
What matters is the difference from a ready-made liquid: a longfill is not directly vapable. With Dampflion Checkmate it is 10 ml of aroma in a 120 ml bottle, which you top up to the rim with base and, if needed, nicotine shots. Then you shake it; according to retailers the steeping time is around 3 to 5 days. Nicotine-containing products can be addictive and are intended for adults only.
Hookain tip: always follow the information on the label. That way the mixing ratio matches the respective flavour and you do not distort the aroma unnecessarily.
How to mix Dampflion correctly
The principle is uncomplicated: open the longfill, top up with base, add shots if needed, close the bottle and shake thoroughly. After that the aroma should distribute evenly in the liquid. If layers still show, just shake again.
Which base suits your setup
Which base makes sense depends on your setup. For many MTL devices or more compact pods a thinner mixture is often used, while more open DL setups generally cope better with a higher VG share. In the end, what always matters is that your atomiser works cleanly with the viscosity. Whether you prefer to work with nicotine salt or freebase: we explain the difference here.
What to look out for with longfills
With a longfill it is not only taste that counts but also clean preparation. Mix in the bottle supplied and make sure the cap and tip are seated firmly before you shake. That keeps handling simple and avoids unnecessary spills.
If a freshly mixed liquid does not yet seem round enough straight after mixing, a little patience often helps. Many aromas taste more harmonious after a short rest. Store the bottle somewhere dark and at room temperature in the meantime.

Who Dampflion is interesting for
If you are looking for longfills and prefer to mix with a suitable base yourself, Dampflion is exactly the right corner. It pays off when you are looking specifically for flavours from the Checkmate series.
The names of the Checkmate series come from chess and do not reveal the taste, so go by the aroma description: Green Pawn with green fruits and prickly pear, Purple Pawn with forest berries and menthol, Black Rook with red fruit tea and grapes. That helps you find an aroma that suits your day-to-day life and your setup faster. Whether you rely on ready-made liquids or longfills for this, we show you here.
