Hookahs made of aluminium
These hookahs have aluminium entered as a material. The metal differs clearly from stainless steel and glass, above all in how it conducts heat.

Aluminium conducts heat very well. For pure aluminium, the technical literature gives a thermal conductivity many times higher than that of stainless steel and far higher than that of glass or silicone. The product data do not state how high the value is for an alloy.
Aluminium in the material mix
On the models on this page, aluminium is most often listed with glass, followed by stainless steel, epoxy resin, silicone and clay mix. This results in pairings that behave very differently:
- Aluminium and silicone: Silicone is flexible and conducts heat only weakly.
- Aluminium and glass: Glass is dense but a poor conductor of heat.
- Aluminium and clay mix: The pores of unglazed clay are open and take up liquid.
The shop stocks aluminium hookahs from brands including Aladin, Diamond Hookah, Laziza and Darkside.
