The Aladin Alux M5 is a medium-sized shisha from the brand Aladin's Alux Series. The stem is made of aluminum, the bowl of plain glass. It is about 47 cm tall (without head) and comes in the colors red, blue, gold and silver. You can find more models in the Aladin shishas.
Design and stem
You put the M5 together with a click closure. A Closed Chamber System sits in the base, with which you blow stale smoke out of the bowl. The diffuser on the downstem is adjustable and removable. The valve ball has a diameter of 10 mm. Every glass has its own color gradient, so no piece is like another.
Hose connection and extension
From the factory the M5 has one hose connection with an 18/8 ground joint. With a separately available second connection you can extend it to two hoses.
Head: Optimus Bowl Eco with Mockingbird
The chimney head set contains the Aladin Optimus Bowl Eco, a clay head, and a Mockingbird top piece. The top piece helps distribute the heat of the charcoal. Keep the charcoal tongs ready for the session.
Colors
The color refers to the aluminum stem: red, blue, gold or silver. The glass stays plain. Construction and features are the same in all colors.
How to set up the M5
- Fill water into the bowl until the downstem sits about 2 cm in the water.
- Put on the stem and click it in.
- Push the hose adapter onto the 18/8 ground joint and connect the hose.
- Fill the Optimus Bowl Eco, place the Mockingbird top piece and set the charcoal.
- Start smoking and regulate the heat via the charcoal.
Care and cleaning
Rinse bowl and stem with warm water after every session. You can remove the diffuser and clean it separately. The clay head cools down completely before rinsing.
