Which tobacco sticks can I use with IQOS ILUMA?
The IQOS ILUMA devices are specifically designed for use with TEREA and LEVIA tobacco sticks, as only these contain an integrated heating plate. HEETS and similar tobacco sticks cannot be heated inductively. But don't worry, you can find all TEREA tobacco stick varieties in our online shop and have them conveniently delivered to your home!
How does the IQOS ILUMA Tobacco Heater work?
The device consists of a Holder and a Pocket Charger for charging. To enjoy a TEREA Stick, insert the tobacco stick up to the marked line into the charged Holder. The Holder vibrates and the LEDs blink once the correct depth is reached. The ILUMA devices have an automatic pre-heating function. When the LEDs stay lit, the stick is pre-heated and ready to be used. To manually pre-heat the TEREA Tobacco Stick, press the button for one second. The LEDs start blinking again when there are 30 seconds or two puffs remaining. The used TEREA Tobacco Stick should then be properly disposed of, and the Holder placed back in the Pocket Charger to charge.
What is special about the IQOS ILUMA devices?
The IQOS ILUMA tobacco heaters are the first generation of IQOS devices to use induction technology, so that it is not the tobacco itself (as with HEETS, for example) that is heated, but a heating plate built into the TEREA and LEVIA sticks. Additionally, the battery capacity of the Pocket Charger has been improved, allowing for up to 20 tobacco sticks per battery charge of the Charger.
What materials is the IQOS ILUMA device made of?
The Holder is made of high-quality aluminum, providing a good feel when carried. The Pocket Charger, on the other hand, is made of heat-resistant plastic, ensuring the device does not overheat while charging.
