The Geekvape Z Series Head with 0.2 ohm, formerly called Mesh Z2, is the standard head for Geekvape tanks with a Z mount. It is installed in the Z Sub-Ohm tank (Zeus) from the factory. It runs at 70 to 80 watts in the direct-lung draw (DL). One pack contains 5 heads.
0.2 ohm: the middle of the Z series
The 0.2 ohm head sits between the 0.15 ohm head for maximum power and the more economical 0.4 ohm head. The KA1 mesh with organic cotton delivers strong, warm vapor at 70 to 80 watts without you having to go to the limit of your battery device. For most devices with two batteries this is the everyday head.
E-liquid and setting
The head works best with e-liquid from 70/30 VG. It is too open for nicotine salt and 50/50 e-liquids, which can run through. Start at 70 watts and adjust to taste up to 80 watts. If the vapor turns harsh or hot, reduce the power before a dry hit occurs.
Matching devices
The heads sit in the Z mount: Z Sub-Ohm tank (Zeus), Z Sub-Ohm 2021, SE and 5, Z Fli, Z Fli 2 and P tank. This means they also fit kits such as the Aegis Legend 2 (L200) and Aegis Solo 2 (S100) that come with one of these tanks. You fit the Z Max (M Series) and the Z Nano (B Series) with other heads. You can find a matching battery device among the Geekvape battery devices.
How to change the coil
- Switch the device off and take the tank off the battery device.
- Empty the tank and pull out the old head.
- Press the new head straight into the holder until it sits firmly.
- Fill the tank and wait a few minutes so that the cotton is soaked through.
- Start with low power in the wattage range of the head and only increase afterwards.

Yes, the Z Sub-Ohm tank (Zeus) comes with the 0.2 ohm head pre-installed. The 0.4 ohm head is usually included as a replacement.
Can I switch between 0.2 and 0.4 ohm?
Yes, both sit in the same mount. After changing, adjust the power: 70 to 80 watts for 0.2 ohm, 50 to 60 watts for 0.4 ohm.
When do I have to change the coil?
Atomizer heads are wearing parts. If the vapor tastes burnt or the vapor amount drops, the head is due.
