The alite fork/poker combo is a bowl packing tool made of stainless steel that combines a tobacco fork and a foil poker in one piece. It is available in Gold, Gunmetal and Silver. The Silver version shows the bare stainless steel in silver and suits almost any hookah.
Two tools in one
Fork and poker are combined in one tool, and the poker has a fine tip. With the fork you take out tobacco, fluff it up and spread it in the bowl. With the poker you make the holes in the foil. You do not have to switch tools between steps and have everything in one hand.
Stainless steel
The combo is made of stainless steel. The surface is smooth, and tobacco residue can be wiped off or rinsed under water after the session. The Gold, Gunmetal and Silver versions differ in colour; function and design are the same.
For bowls with foil
You use the tool with bowls that are smoked with foil, such as phunnel, clay or stone bowls. Fill in the tobacco loosely and do not press it down so that the draw stays even. With a phunnel, the middle of the foil stays unpierced; you only pierce above the tobacco.
How to use the fork/poker combo
- Fluff up the tobacco with the fork and spread it evenly in the bowl.
- Stretch the foil tight over the rim.
- Pierce holes evenly in the foil with the poker. Holes that are too small make the bowl very hot.
- Place the coals, heat up and control the heat via the number and position of the coals.

How do I clean the combo?
