Squishies from Fumari
A squishy is a soft toy for kneading and squeezing. At Fumari the motifs come from the kitchen: butter, burgers, fruit and cheese. All motifs look like food, but they are toys and do not belong in the mouth.
Slow rising, wax or water beads
The squishies differ in their construction, and that determines how they feel in the hand. Slow rising means: the PU foam (polyurethane) does not spring back after squeezing but slowly returns to its shape. With wax cracking, a firm wax layer sits on top of the foam and breaks open the first time you squeeze.
| Squishy | Construction | In the hand |
|---|---|---|
| Squishy Butter yellow, Butter Strawberry, Mystery Butter | slow-rising foam | soft, highly deformable, rises slowly |
| Squishy Knack-Butter | foam with soy wax layer | firmer to the grip, cracks on the first firm squeeze |
| Squishy Grape | soft shell with water beads | each berry can be pressed in on its own |
| Squishy Hamburger, Squishy Cheese Cube | soft squeeze motif | gives way and returns to its shape |

How your squishy keeps its shape
Foam squishies can take kneading, squashing and twisting, but not sharp fingernails or overstretching: once the surface tears, the tear grows as you keep playing. Keep them dry and do not dip them in water. Fine creases on the surface after squeezing are part of the material. Press the grape with its filling without piercing it.
Frequently asked questions about Fumari GmbH
Does the Knack-Butter crack every time?
No. The wax layer breaks open on the first firm squeeze. After that you keep playing with the soft foam underneath.
Can I choose a motif with the Mystery Butter?
No. Motif and colour are random; you only see them when you open the packaging.
Does the Butter Strawberry smell of strawberry?
The strawberry is a print; there is no scent specification. Shape and foam match the yellow butter block.
Does the butter squishy really weigh 113 g?
No. The quantity is part of the butter look and says nothing about the weight of the squishy.
