Aspire - Huracan LX - Kit - Gunmetal

The Aspire Huracan LX is a battery device kit with a built-in battery and a top-fill tank on top. The battery has 3,000 mAh, the output power ranges from 5 to 100 W. According to retailers the Huracan tank holds 6 ml and comes with two BP mesh coils.

The Gunmetal version has a dark grey housing, and the tank and buttons are black. You can find replacements for the BP mesh coils among the atomizer heads and coils.

Battery device and power

The battery cell is built in and cannot be replaced. It is charged via USB-C with 5 V and 2 A. The ASP chipset provides 5 to 100 W, and the voltage is 0.5 to 9.0 V. The modes are VW, VV, TC, Bypass and CPS, and 100 to 315 °C are possible in temperature mode. The 0.96 inch TFT colour display shows power, battery level and mode. The battery device measures 85.9 × 35.3 × 30 mm and weighs about 138 g.

Tank and coils

The Huracan tank is made of stainless steel and glass and has a diameter of 26 mm. The coils are ready-made heads, you do not wind anything yourself. The BP mesh head with 0.3 Ω for 30 to 40 W is pre-installed, and a head with 0.17 Ω for 45 to 55 W is included. The tank also takes BP mesh coils with 0.15 Ω, which are designed for 60 to 80 W and 80 to 100 W.

Filling and airflow

The tank is filled from the top: you unscrew the cap, fill in e-liquid and screw it shut again. The airflow cap sits on top and is continuously adjustable. The further it is open, the looser the draw.

Draw characteristics

The supplied sub-ohm mesh coils are intended for the lung draw (DL or RDL). You determine how open the draw becomes with the airflow cap. The 0.17 Ω head is designed for more power than the 0.3 Ω head.

How to get started with the Huracan LX

1. Charge the battery via USB-C and screw the tank onto the battery device.
2. Unscrew the cap and fill the tank up to below the fill limit.
3. After filling, let the coil soak for a few minutes so the cotton soaks up fully. A dry puff leads to a dry hit.
4. Switch the device on as described in the manual and start with low power in the wattage range of the coil, that is, at 30 W for the 0.3 Ω head.
5. Set the airflow and raise the power in small steps if needed.
