The Plug - Phunnel - Toxic
Delivery Time 1-3 working days
Somewhere between nature and technology, the perfect symbiosis of design and function meets our thermoresistant Stone Ware Clay. Longer sessions despite a lower consumption. Locally made in a small manufactory in Seville. Capacity in depot: 14-18g.
Compatible with all current HMDs.
It is STONE WARE fired at 1250 °C! We use the best possible material and draw on years of experience in ceramic manufacturing. In our manufacture in Seville we work with High Temperature Clay and limited capacities due to the extremely high temperatures that the raw material requires. Those who like our POPO will love THE PLUG. Those who celebrate LiT LiP will find it hard to believe how much better THE PLUG works.
American Stoneware - The best quality made by Hookain
The shape is adapted to the material properties and leaves no nanogram of flavor unused. The material has an extremely high density and the head conducts heat like no other. The head itself is extremely heavy and feels wonderful in the hand. When handled sparingly, The Plug is also suitable for a tobacco quantity of 10-13g, depending on the construction method.
Each THE PLUG has a roughened lip for the Perfect Fit.
In addition, the lip does not get dirty when times molasses comes on it, because the pores of the stone material are completely closed due to the high temperatures we use. Despite the small amount, THE PLUG performs at least as long as a conventional head with 20g.
Note: The heads may differ in shape and color from the photo, because it is ceramic. The bleeding of the head can also not be completely prevented. As a rule of thumb, the hotter the head is fired, the less likely it is to bleed. Since ceramic expands and contracts with each heating, stretch marks can occur in the course of use, which are also no reason for complaint.
Hookain
Hookain is a brand from Cologne, on the market since 2019. At its core are hookah bowls made of stoneware, joined by 3D-printed mouthpieces, blow-off sleeves, bundles and merch.
About Hookain
Hookain bowls are fired and glazed in Spain from stoneware. Each series has its own shape, and the glazes change per edition between matt and glossy. Some designs appear only as a Limited Edition and do not return once sold out.
Phunnel or multi-hole
The bowls come in two types. On a phunnel a single raised hole sits in the centre of the base. On a multi-hole bowl (5 Hole) several holes are spread across the base.
| Type | Series |
|---|---|
| Phunnel | Lit Lip, Lil Lip, Luv Lip, Low Load, Popo, Magic Mushroom, Twister |
| Multi-hole (5 Hole) | Pot, Cadiz, 5evilla, Conil |
| both types | Drip Bowl, Chess, Pascha |
Stoneware from Spain
Stoneware is densely fired and glazed. After the session the bowl can go in the dishwasher.

Figures from the 3D printer
The 3D mouthpieces carry figures and motifs found only at Hookain. Each motif is its own item, so you pick the figure directly.
To match the mouthpieces, there are blow-off sleeves for the purge valve of the stem. Bundles combine a bowl with accessories, and for everyday wear there are T-shirts, pool slides, stickers and posters.
