What is ElfliQ? Nicotine salt, strengths and matching pods
ElfliQ is Elf Bar's ready-made nicotine salt liquid: 10 ml per bottle, in 10 or 20 mg/ml, mixed at 50/50. It is made for refillable pod systems with a mouth-to-lung draw.

What is ElfliQ?
ElfliQ is a ready-mixed liquid from Elf Bar. You don't need to add any base or nicotine shot. Use it to fill a refillable pod, and respect your device's waiting time the first time you fill it. The nicotine is in the form of nicotine salt, known in the scene as nic salt.
10 and 20 mg/ml describe the nicotine concentration. With the same amount of liquid, the 20 mg version contains twice as much nicotine; no fixed amount of nicotine per puff can be derived from this.

Which flavour directions are there?
Fruit, fruit with an ice twist, drinks and mint are the typical flavour directions in the ElfliQ range. The flavour name describes the taste, but it doesn't reliably tell you how much cooling there is.
Mango and Cherry Cola also contain a cooling agent, even though “Ice” isn't in the name. Menthol and Spearmint have a mint profile. If you want a flavour without cooling, check the flavour description and the ingredients; a fruit name alone isn't enough.

Which devices is ElfliQ made for?
ElfliQ suits refillable pods for MTL, the draw that goes into the mouth first and then into the lungs. One example is the Geekvape Wenax Q2 with the 0.8-ohm Q Pod: its power range is 12 to 18 watts. The coil, the heating element in the pod, determines the wattage range.
Prefilled pods and disposable devices are not refilled. Only use the intended fill port of an empty pod.

What does the bottle look like?
The flavour name is printed large on the bottle and the box, and the label colour changes with the flavour. The bottle has a fine tip that lets you hit the pod's fill port. The strength is printed on the box – keep an eye on it when you reorder, because both strengths of a flavour look very similar. Four bottles to compare:
Can you mix ElfliQ flavours?
Yes. All flavours are mixed at 50/50 and can be combined directly in the pod. With the same nicotine strength, the concentration stays the same. Different strengths give an average that depends on the amounts of liquid you mix.
When mixing, flavour and cooling change together. A flavour without an ice twist isn't a reliably coolant-free base.

Frequently asked questions
Can I mix 10 and 20 mg/ml?
Yes. The strength then lands between the two values: mixed half and half, it comes to 15 mg/ml.
Why does ElfliQ only come in 10 ml bottles?
Because in the EU, nicotine-containing liquids may only be sold in refill containers of up to 10 ml. Larger bottles only exist without nicotine.
Is 20 mg/ml the highest strength?
Yes. 20 mg/ml is the legal upper limit for nicotine-containing liquids in Germany.
Do I have to wait after filling?
With a new pod, yes: the cotton has to soak up liquid before the first puff. Follow the waiting time in your device's manual; with the Vaporesso XROS 5 it is five minutes after the first fill.
How do I store an opened bottle?
Tightly closed, cool and dark – and always out of the reach of children and pets.
