The flavour filter has three melon values. Melon is the open one: sweet and watery-fruity, without committing to the honeyed depth of honeydew or the green note of watermelon. It is assigned far less often than the two more specific values, so a look at their filters rounds out the selection.
Here, melon is mainly combined with berry mix and orange; individual varieties place pineapple, maracuja or mint alongside it. The span therefore runs from berry through citrus to a variant with a cooling effect.
Cover and clearance
If you work with foil, the charcoal goes straight onto the perforated cover. A narrow air gap is usually left between the surface of the tobacco and the foil. You will find melon varieties from brands including Blackburn, XRACHER, Chillma and Smoke Island.
