The Squishy Crispy Butter, called “Crispy Butter Stick Squishy” on the box, has something the other butter sticks lack: a layer of soy wax over the foam. It cracks on the first firm squeeze – squishy videos call this wax cracking.

And after the first squeeze?

Underneath, PU foam with slow rebound keeps working. The box says exactly that: “Can keep playing after squeezing”. It also feels firmer in the hand than a pure foam stick.

Does the butter crack every time?

The box describes the crack as the experience of the first squeeze (“Super satisfying first squeeze”). After that you play on with the soft foam.
