"Purple Pawn - Checkmate by Dampflion - 10ml flavor in a 120ml empty bottle"
Taste:
The Checkmate series by Dampflion is well-known for its many compositions that offer a variety of flavors to suit everyone's taste. The "Purple Pawn" flavor by Dampflion is a mix of ripe berries with a hint of menthol that provides an authentic and well-balanced flavor experience.
Handling:
The flavor is already in the bottle, simply add nicotine shots (if desired) and/or base to fill it up. Next, screw on the lid and shake well. To allow the flavor to fully develop in the base, the liquid should now "mature" for 2-5 days. If the manufacturer recommends a different time, the instructions will be noted on the bottle. Please note: This is an aroma for use in e-cigarettes only. Do not vape it pure or consume it in any other way.

Dampflion
Dampflion is a flavour brand from Germany. The Hookain Onlineshop carries its Checkmate range: longfill concentrates named after chess pieces, from Black Rook to Green Pawn.
Checkmate: chess pieces as flavours
Every flavour has a piece on its label – Pawn for the foot soldier, Rook for the castle. You can choose from:
- Black Rook: fruit tea of red fruits with grape and spearmint
- Green Pawn: prickly pear and green fruits with a touch of menthol
- Purple Pawn: forest berries with menthol
- Red Pawn: spicy tobacco flavour that needs 2 to 5 days to steep
Mixing a Dampflion longfill
Longfill means the large bottle holds only 10 ml of concentrate and you fill up the rest. With Checkmate that is a 120 ml bottle. The concentrate cannot be vaped straight.
Top the bottle up to the upper edge of the label with base, the flavourless PG and VG carrier. For nicotine, replace part of the base with nicotine shots, which are 10 ml bottles of base at 20 mg/ml. Two shots in 120 ml give about 3.3 mg/ml, four shots about 6.7 mg/ml. Then close the cap and shake firmly for a few minutes.

Let it steep
You can vape the mix straight away. It rounds out if you let it rest for a few days: keep it in the dark and give it a shake now and then.
Is there nicotine in the concentrate already?
No. The concentrate is nicotine-free, and the number of shots decides the strength.
How much base do I need per bottle?
Around 110 ml of base and shots combined. Fill to the top edge of the label and the ratio is right.
Which base suits Checkmate?
You choose the PG/VG ratio: 50/50 for tight-draw MTL devices, more VG for direct-to-lung (DL) vaping.
Are base and shots included?
No, the bottle only contains the concentrate. Base and nicotine shots are sold separately.
