Precise Handcraft for Perfect Enjoyment

The Hyphen Phunnel Bowls from Sheeshaya are true rarities as they are locally made. These tobacco bowls are crafted in a German traditional workshop taken over by a young pottery group in 2020, using the highest quality materials. Each bowl is hand shaped and glazed.

Special Quality Comes at a Price

You may have noticed that the Sheeshaya Hyphen Phunnel bowls are in the upper price range. However, the 39.90 € is justified as the tobacco bowls are made in Germany with elaborate handcraft. The clay used is particularly dense and is fired at extremely high temperatures of over 1250 degrees.

Against Annoying Bleeding

The use of high-quality raw materials and high firing temperatures makes these Shisha tobacco bowls extremely heat-resistant and minimizes air bubbles, preventing molasses from penetrating. This ensures that the flavor of the tobacco remains full-bodied and intense. Additionally, the bowls are further protected by thick, beautiful glazes.

Recommended Bowl Attachments:

We recommend using a Smokebox, such as an HMD from ONMO or Kaloud, which match the quality of the Sheeshaya bowls. Alternatively, aluminum foil can be used. However, the use of a chimney attachment is not possible.

Phunnel Hyphen Gen 2

A phunnel is a bowl with a single raised hole in the centre. The filling sits in a ring around it and cannot slip into the stem. The Hyphen Gen 2 is made in Germany from ceramic and clay and holds 21 to 24 g depending on the cut of the filling. Colours: blue, brown, cream, orange, sand and white.

Nova coal heater

The Nova is an electric coal heater rated at 600 W. You place natural coals on the hot plate and turn them until they glow all round; no open flame is needed.
