The Uwell Caliburn G3 is a refillable pod system with a built-in 900 mAh battery, OLED display and up to 25 W of power. The set includes two pods with a built-in mesh coil, 0.6 and 0.9 ohm. The pods hold 2.5 ml each and are filled from the side.
Battery and power
The battery is built in and is charged via USB-C with 5 V and 2 A. The power is adjustable up to a maximum of 25 W, and the range depends on the pod: 5 to 25 W with the 0.6 ohm pod, 5 to 15 W with the 0.9 ohm pod. Short-circuit protection and a cut-off after 8 seconds of draw time are also included.
Pod and coils
The 0.9 ohm pod is intended for the MTL draw, the 0.6 ohm pod for the restricted lung draw (RDL). The coils are built into the pod, cannot be wound yourself and are replaced together with the whole pod. The pods sit magnetically. They are filled from the side through the filling opening without you having to remove the pod. The mouthpiece is integrated in the pod.
Operation
The device starts via draw activation or the button in the middle. Pressing it five times switches it on and off, and the button can be locked. The OLED display shows battery level and the set wattage, and you set the power with the button. You change the airflow by turning the pod by 180°.
How to get started with the Caliburn G3
- Charge the device via USB-C before you use it for the first time.
- Fill the pod from the side and close the opening again.
- Let the pod stand for a few minutes so that the coil soaks. Otherwise a dry hit threatens.
- Plug on the pod and switch the device on with five clicks.
- Start with low power within the pod's range and increase it step by step.

RDL (restrictive direct lung) sits between the two basic styles: you draw straight into the lungs, but against noticeable resistance. The lower the coil resistance, the more power the device needs and the more open the draw.

Which pods fit my Caliburn?
The pods are specific to each generation. Each pod names the matching device family, for example Caliburn G3 or Caliburn G4.
What is the Valyrian IV?
A clearomiser, meaning a tank with a replaceable coil head, for mods with a 510 thread. The coil heads come in packs of two.
How do Typhos and Caliburn differ?
The Typhos devices have larger batteries and more power and are made for RDL and DL. The Caliburn kits are smaller and designed mainly for MTL.
