The Uwell Typhos SE is a pod system with a built-in 2,000 mAh battery, up to 45 W and a housing made of aluminium with faux leather. Instead of a display it has an LED indicator. The kit includes a pod with 6 ml and a built-in 0.6 ohm mesh coil, designed for MTL to RDL. This version has a housing in blue.
Battery and power
The battery charges via USB-C with up to 2 A. The power reaches 45 W and is regulated automatically. A 360° indicator LED shows battery level, mode and system messages. Two modes are available: Wave glows purple, Storm orange. You switch by tapping the USB-C connection quickly three times.
Pod and coils
The pod holds 6 ml and is filled from the side through a silicone plug. It sits magnetically in the device, and the mouthpiece is integrated in the pod. The 0.6 ohm single mesh coil works in the range of 13–25 W and sits fixed in the pod. When it weakens, you replace the whole pod. The device supports Typhos pods from 0.3 to 0.8 ohm: 0.3 ohm dual mesh (26–45 W), 0.6 ohm (13–25 W), 0.8 ohm (10–18 W). Operation
The Typhos SE starts with draw activation and has no fire button. With the slider on the side you set the airflow from tight (MTL) to open (RDL). There is no display, you read the status from the LED.
How to get started with the Typhos SE
- Charge the battery via USB-C before first use.
- Fill the pod from the side: open the silicone plug, fill in e-liquid, close the plug firmly.
- Let the freshly filled pod rest for a few minutes so the coil is soaked. Otherwise a dry hit is likely.
- Insert the pod and set the airflow rather tight at first.
- Start with low power. With the 0.6 ohm coil the range is 13–25 W.

Uwell

RDL (restrictive direct lung) sits between the two basic styles: you draw straight into the lungs, but against noticeable resistance. The lower the coil resistance, the more power the device needs and the more open the draw.

Which pods fit my Caliburn?
The pods are specific to each generation. Each pod names the matching device family, for example Caliburn G3 or Caliburn G4.
What is the Valyrian IV?
A clearomiser, meaning a tank with a replaceable coil head, for mods with a 510 thread. The coil heads come in packs of two.
How do Typhos and Caliburn differ?
The Typhos devices have larger batteries and more power and are made for RDL and DL. The Caliburn kits are smaller and designed mainly for MTL.
Is a charging cable included?
Yes, the kits come with a USB-C cable and charge at 5 V and 2 A.
