Vaporesso - Luxe - XR - Max - Pod Kit Orange Leather

The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max is a pod mod with a built-in 2,800 mAh battery and up to 80 watts. The Luxe XR pod holds 5 ml, is filled from the bottom and works with replaceable GTX mesh coils. The kit includes two coils with 0.2 and 0.4 ohm. This version has a housing in orange with a leather look.

Battery and power

The battery is built in, there is no replaceable 18650 cell. It is charged via USB-C with 5 V and 2 A. The AXON chip regulates up to a maximum of 80 watts. In classic VW mode you set the watts yourself. In smart mode the device detects the resistance of the inserted coil, chooses a suitable power and sets an upper limit for the coil. The housing measures around 106.5 × 32.1 × 26 mm.

Pod and coils

The pod made of PCTG holds 5 ml. You fill it from the bottom, and a silicone plug closes the opening. It is held magnetically on the mod. The GTX coil sits in the pod and can be replaced individually as soon as the draw weakens or tastes burnt. Only the new GTX coils fit, recognisable by the two O-rings at the lower end.

Operation

Firing is done with the fire button. Two touch buttons (up and down) on the front set the power. The 0.54 inch OLED shows battery level, mode, power and puff counter. Two RGB LED strips signal operating status and charging progress and can be switched off. You set the airflow with the slider on the side, from DL through RDL to MTL.

How to get started with the Luxe XR Max

1. Charge the battery fully via USB-C.
2. Check that a GTX coil sits in the pod, and otherwise insert the 0.2 or 0.4 ohm coil.
3. Fill the pod from the bottom and close the silicone plug.
4. Let the coil soak for a few minutes so that the cotton is saturated. Otherwise it burns on the first puff.
5. Plug on the pod and switch the device on.
6. Start at the lower end of the coil's wattage range and set the airflow.

Can I change the battery?

No, the 2,800 mAh battery is built in. You charge it via the USB-C port.

Which pods and coils fit?

The device takes Luxe XR pods with replaceable GTX coils and Luxe X pods with a built-in mesh coil. For the GTX coils, only the new ones with two O-rings count.

How do I get the pod filled?

From below (bottom-fill). The opening is closed with a silicone plug. After filling you close it again and let the coil soak for a few minutes.

Do the colours differ technically?

No. Battery, power, pod and scope of delivery are the same for all versions, and only the design of the housing changes.
