The Geekvape S cartridge with 0.8 ohm is the stronger of the two coil levels for the Wenax S3. At 14 to 18 W it delivers more and warmer vapor than the 1.2 ohm version, but stays in the mouth-to-lung draw. The pack contains two pods with a 2 ml tank each and a built-in coil.
What makes the 0.8 ohm coil special
With the lower resistance the coil draws more current and works in the upper power range of the Wenax S3. The draw becomes somewhat looser, the vapor fuller and the aroma rounder. If you often run the S3 at the upper end of the wattage, this cartridge is the right one.
The coil sits fixed in the pod. When the flavour gets flat or tastes burnt, the next cartridge goes onto the device. It is filled through a side opening, and the 2 ml tank stays on the battery or is pulled off briefly.
Which e-liquid suits the 0.8 ohm cartridge
The warmer coil copes well with 50/50 e-liquids, with nicotine salt as well as with freebase. With nicotine salt, a lower strength is often enough thanks to the higher vapor amount than with 1.2 ohm. The small coil wicks very thick e-liquids with a high VG share more slowly. In that case, leave short pauses between draws so that it does not burn.
Matching device
The S cartridge is built for the Wenax S3 and also fits the Geekvape Wenax S3 Evo. If you need a tighter draw with less vapor, take the S cartridge with 1.2 ohm.
First fill
- Pull open the side filling opening and fill up to 2 ml at most.
- Close the opening and let the pod stand for about five minutes.
- Insert the pod, start at the lower end of the 14 to 18 W and feel your way up.

No. It stays in the MTL range; the draw is only somewhat more open and the vapor warmer than with 1.2 ohm.
