The abbreviation MTL stands for mouth-to-lung. A device with this draw style is designed for a draw that goes into the mouth first and from there into the lungs. The name therefore describes what the manufacturer designed the device for, not a property of the e-liquid.
How MTL shows up in the data
- Most frequent combination: Alongside MTL, the value recorded most often is RDL, the restrictive direct-lung draw.
- Less often with DL: Some models also name DL, the open direct-lung draw.
- Source: The assignment is based on the manufacturer's specification, not on a measurement of our own.
If a device carries several draw styles, it appears on each of those pages. To reduce the selection, combine MTL in the filter with resistance, power or filling type. Brands represented include Aspire, Geekvape, Vaporesso and Uwell.
