The J Head with 0.6 ohm is the middle of the Geekvape J series: enough power for a loose draw, but still economical in consumption. Geekvape specifies it for 18 to 25 watts, and in retail you will also read 16 to 21 watts. The pack contains 5 heads.
Who the 0.6 ohm head is for
Do you want more vapor than with the classic mouth-to-lung draw, but not a completely open draw? Then this head is right. It is designed for RDL and can also be vaped as a loose MTL with the airflow somewhat more closed. Compared with the J head with 0.4 ohm, it needs less battery and e-liquid, and the flavour stays strong.
E-liquid and setting
- E-liquid: blends around 50/50 or 60/40 (VG/PG) run well at this resistance.
- Power: start at 18 watts, then go towards 25 watts to taste.
- Airflow: half open for RDL, more closed for a tighter draw.
Compatibility
The head sits in the J cartridge with a tank volume of 5 ml (2 ml in the TPD version). This cartridge is used by the Digi Max and the Geekvape Digi Pro Kit. You can find more replacement heads under atomizer heads.
Frequently asked questions
Is the J Head 0.6 ohm an MTL or RDL head?
Primarily RDL. With strongly reduced airflow a loose MTL draw also works, and for a tight draw 0.8 and 1.2 ohm are better.
How long does a head last?
That depends on the e-liquid and the power. Heavily sweetened e-liquids clog the mesh faster. If the flavour fades or tastes burnt, replace it.

Pretty good
I'm largely satisfied. An acquaintance recommended it to me. Plenty of vapour, even on a lower setting in the evening in the yard. Packaging was practical and not over the top. Soaked it with a few drops of liquid first, after that it ran without problems. The price per coil could be a bit lower for my taste. Update after a good month: even changing it with wet fingers it slips in easily.
