Geekvape - Z Series - Head - 0.4 Ohm - 5 pcs

The Geekvape Z Series Head with 0.4 ohm, formerly called Mesh Z1, is the most economical head of the classic Z series for Geekvape tanks. It runs at 50 to 60 watts and suits the direct-lung draw (DL) with somewhat less power. One pack contains 5 heads.

0.4 ohm: fewer watts, longer battery life

At 50 to 60 watts the head also copes well with battery devices with a single battery. The KA1 mesh with organic cotton makes the vapor somewhat cooler and less dense than the heads with 0.2 and 0.15 ohm. In return, the tank fill and battery charge last noticeably longer. On newer packs it sometimes says 60 to 70 watts; if in doubt, stick to the print on your head.

E-liquid and setting

The head likes e-liquid from 70/30 VG. Nicotine salt and 50/50 e-liquids are not intended for this open DL head. Start at 50 watts and go up slowly. Above the wattage range the vapor gets hot and the cotton burns faster.

Matching devices

The heads sit in the Z mount: Z Sub-Ohm tank (Zeus), Z Sub-Ohm 2021, SE and 5, Z Fli, Z Fli 2 and P tank. This means they also fit kits such as the Aegis Legend 2 (L200) and Aegis Solo 2 (S100) that come with one of these tanks. You fit the Z Max (M Series) and the Z Nano (B Series) with other heads. How to change the coil

1. Switch the device off and take the tank off the battery device.
2. Empty the tank and pull out the old head.
3. Press the new head straight into the holder until it sits firmly.
4. Fill the tank and wait a few minutes so that the cotton is soaked through.
5. Start with low power in the wattage range of the head and only increase afterwards.

Are 50 watts enough for the 0.4 ohm head?

Yes, 50 watts is the lower end of its range. This makes it the Z head for smaller battery devices.

Is this the replacement head from the Z Sub-Ohm tank?

Yes, the Z Sub-Ohm tank (Zeus) comes with the 0.2 ohm head pre-installed and the 0.4 ohm head as a replacement. The revised XM version with 0.4 ohm is carried as a separate article.

When do I have to change the coil?

Atomizer heads are wearing parts. If the vapor tastes burnt or the vapor amount drops, the head is due.
