D.A.SH - Koi - Hookah Bowl - Grey

The D.A.SH Koi is a push-fit glass bowl in a bulbous drop shape with two different cut patterns. It is around 26 to 27 cm tall, up to 17 cm wide and weighs about 1.5 kg. The standard size is intended for medium to large hookahs.

Bulbous drop shape with crossed and straight cuts

Narrow, crossing cuts sit on the upper neck and the belly. Wider, straight cuts run through the middle of the neck. This gives the glass two patterns in one bowl. Depending on the version, the Koi comes in Grey and in White.

Ordinary glass instead of crystal glass

Part of the glass surfaces is transparent. The glass bowl is made of ordinary glass and is therefore lighter than a crystal bowl. Depending on the batch it is mouth-blown or pressed. Pressed bowls may show fine seams in the glass. Small air bubbles are possible and not a defect. The neck opening measures 4.5 cm inside and 7 cm outside.

Push-fit bowl for push-fit hookahs

D.A.SH bowls have no screw thread. The stem is plugged into the neck of the bowl with a silicone grommet, so the Koi only fits hookahs with a push-fit system. Before buying, measure your downstem including the diffuser; it must not touch the glass bottom inside the bowl.

How to use the Koi

1. Hold the downstem with the diffuser in the bowl and check that it does not touch the bottom.
2. Add water until the downstem is submerged by about 2 to 3 cm.
3. Push the stem with the grommet firmly into the neck of the bowl.
4. Stand the hookah upright, attach the hose and start smoking.

Care

Rinse the bowl by hand with lukewarm water after the session, with mild washing-up liquid if needed. Not dishwasher safe. Avoid boiling water and rapid temperature changes; glass cannot withstand thermal shock.
