Dash - Kyber - Bowl - Black

The D.A.SH Kyber is a plug-in glass base with a conical, faceted shape. It is built in standard size, up to 17 cm wide and weighs about 1.5 kg. It is made in Spain and intended for medium-sized hookahs.

The Black version is tinted black and transparent.

You can find more sizes and shapes among the glass bases.

Conical shape with facets

The Kyber tapers to a point at the top. The facet-like cuts refract the light and emphasise the cone shape. Through the black-tinted glass you can see the water level. The Kyber is available in clear and in black. The Kyber Mini is a separate model.

Regular glass instead of crystal glass

The base is made of regular glass and is lighter than a crystal base. Depending on the batch it is mouth-blown or pressed. On pressed bases fine seams may be visible, and small air inclusions are possible. This is part of the production. The neck opening measures 4.5 cm inside and 7 cm outside.

Plug-in base without thread

The Kyber has no screw thread. The stem is pushed into the neck with a silicone seal, so the base only fits hookahs with a plug-in system. Before inserting, measure your downstem including diffuser; it should not touch the glass bottom inside the base.

How to use the Kyber

1. Hold the downstem with diffuser into the base and check that it does not touch the bottom.
2. Fill in water until the downstem is submerged about 2 to 3 cm.
3. Push the stem with the seal firmly into the neck of the base.
4. Stand the hookah upright, attach the hose and start smoking.

Care

Rinse the base by hand with lukewarm water after the session, with mild washing-up liquid if needed. Not in the dishwasher. No boiling water, no rapid change between hot and cold: glass does not tolerate thermal shock.
