FUGO Foil Piercer - Mixed Color

The FUGO foil poker Mixed Color is a 15 cm long foil piercer made of stainless steel and plastic. It comes in yellow, red, black or pink. It is designed for packing with foil.

Which colour will I get?

The item is called Mixed Color. You will receive one of the pictured colours yellow, red, black or pink. The pictured versions are built the same, only the colour differs.

For aluminium foil and heavy-duty foil

With the poker you pierce holes in the foil over the bowl. Through the holes, the heat of the coals reaches the tobacco and the smoke is drawn off. In the scene, the tool is also called a poker. How to pierce the foil

1. Fill the tobacco loosely into the bowl and do not press it down. Leave some space between the tobacco and the foil.
2. Pull the foil tight over the rim of the bowl. Heavy-duty foil is enough in a single layer; household foil you lay double or triple.
3. Pierce the holes. You decide on the number and arrangement yourself; a circle of many small holes is common. On a phunnel, the middle usually stays free.
4. Blow lightly into the bowl from below. Before putting on the coals, check that the air can flow through the holes.

How big should the holes be?

Use the tip to make small, even openings. If too little air gets through, add more holes; a fixed hole pattern does not suit every bowl.

Do I need the poker with an HMD?

No. With an HMD, the coals sit in the attachment instead of on the foil. You only need the poker for packing with foil.
