Natural coal from coconut shells
Zauberwürfel is natural coal: pressed coal made from coconut shells, with no chemical additives and no ignition aid. It is produced in Indonesia. You cannot light it with a lighter; you need a coal burner or a gas torch. The cubes stay there until they are glowing all the way through. Only then do they go on the bowl or on the HMD, the heat management device that holds the coal above the bowl.

You can tell the boxes apart by their colour: the 26 mm in black and red, the 27 mm in orange. A 26 mm cube burns for around 1.5 hours, a 27 mm cube for up to 120 minutes. The ash content is about 2 to 3 %. If your session runs longer, add a freshly glowing cube.
