Cocodalya - Natural Charcoal - 1 Kg

Cocodalya natural charcoal is black coconut charcoal in cube shape. The manufacturer is Adalya, the material is coconut shells originating from Indonesia. The cubes have an edge length of 26 mm, and the pack contains 1 kg.

Natural charcoal in the 26 size

26 mm is one of the usual cube sizes. Larger cubes glow longer and give off more heat per piece than small ones. Whether a cube fits into your head or HMD insert depends on the space. When in doubt, measure.

Burn time and ash

A burn time of at least two hours and an ash content of at most 4% are stated. The actual glow time depends on tobacco, draw and head. How many cubes you need, you control via the heat at the head.

Lighting with a lighter

Natural charcoal contains no self-igniting agents. You cannot light it with a lighter or match; you need a charcoal lighter or a stove.

How to use the Cocodalya

1. Place the cubes on the charcoal lighter or stove.
2. Let them glow through until the cube glows all around. Depending on the lighter this takes a few minutes.
3. Place on the head with tongs, shaking off loose ash first.
4. Regulate the heat via the number of coals and add more if needed.
5. After the session let the remains burn out and cool down completely.

Light charcoal only with good ventilation and use it only there.

Storage

Keep the cubes dry and closed.
