Flavour of Wild Shake
Watermelon, raspberry and blackcurrant. Fresh, sweet and fruity. The juicy melon has a summery, exotic note, while raspberry and blackcurrant add a dark berry note with a slight acidity. The flavour is particularly intense and holds up well even in a longer session.
Base tobacco and cut
Darkside Shake is based on Burley as Dark Leaf and Dark Blend. The flavours are blends of several aromas in fixed recipes. The tobacco is moist and mixed with molasses. Stir it thoroughly before building the bowl and do not press it down.
Bowl and heat
In the scene, Darkside is usually built in a phunnel with HMD, though a multi-hole bowl works too. In the phunnel the tobacco may be pressed in lightly; in a multi-hole bowl, fill it loosely and fluffily. The tobacco tolerates a lot of heat, but tastes cleaner if you increase it step by step. Start with little charcoal and only add more once the stem thins out.

Authentisch getroffen
Im Kern gut. Als jemand, der Himbeere gern mag, finde ich die Umsetzung sehr gelungen. Nach einer Weile muss man mehr Hitze geben, damit noch was kommt.

Kleine Abzüge
Gute Sache mit etwas Luft nach oben. Ich rauche eher selten Shisha, meist zu besonderen Anlässen. Die Sorte ist angenehm frisch und nicht zu aufdringlich. Mit Dark Leaf als Grundlage bekommt das Aroma mehr Tiefe. Die Bestellbestätigung war übersichtlich und vollständig. Ganz leicht schmeckt man eine künstliche Note raus.

Beide Noten klar
Die Mischung aus Himbeere und Wassermelone ist stimmig ausbalanciert. Macht man die Dose auf, riecht es sofort intensiv nach der Sorte. Nicht schlimm, aber ein wenig mehr Glanz im Tabak wäre schön.
