Most devices with 80 W come from Vaporesso, others from brands such as Uwell and Aspire. Unlike 30 or 40 W, 5 W is only rarely listed alongside here; instead, individual items carry 85 or 100 W.
- Worked example: A head of 0.2 Ohm needs a voltage of 4 V for 80 W, and the current is then 20 A.
- Power source: The battery has to supply currents of this size. The batteries a device is designed for are listed in the product details.
- Choice of head: A high setting requires a head whose manufacturer specifies this range.
As an electrical quantity, the wattage describes energy per unit of time. At 80 W, the device converts four times as much energy per second as at 20 W, and with the same period of use the battery is empty correspondingly sooner. In the filter, you combine 80 W with a suitable head resistance.
