Mr. Hanky as a hand-thrown phunnel for heavy-duty foil
The Mr. Hanky comes in different glazes, such as Circus in dark red and anthracite or Bee in yellow with white and grey details. Every head is thrown on the potter's wheel from German stoneware clay from the Eifel and is one of a kind.
Hookain tip: With its solid shaft, the Mr. Hanky is designed for short sessions. Plan the fill amount accordingly and do not pack the head full up to the foil.
How the Mr. Hanky plays in everyday use
The phunnel design keeps the molasses in the head so it does not run into the stem. You spread the tobacco loosely around the raised centre hole; the hole itself stays free so the draw stays open.
In practice it pays not to overload the head. A loosely packed head with clean heat supply is usually the better choice. If you pack with an HMD, build up the heat gradually instead of starting too aggressively.

What to watch in your setup
With the Mr. Hanky, a proper pack counts for more than sheer fill amount. Spread the tobacco evenly, do not press it down unnecessarily and leave enough room for the heat to work cleanly.
If you pack with heavy-duty foil, keep an eye on the distance between tobacco and foil. If you use an HMD, bring the head up in a controlled way and give it a moment. That way you can better judge how the Mr. Hanky behaves on your hookah.
