Glass base
Rounded and wide
At 24 cm across and 26 cm tall, the Bash base gives the long stem a broad footprint. A stainless steel thread joins both parts; small inclusions in the glass come from hand production.

Proportions
Big base, slim stem
Above the low, wide-flared base the slender steel stem looks especially light. A single connector sits at the side of the head section.
Preparation
Before your first session

Fill the base
Pour in enough water for the downstem to sit a good two centimetres deep.

Screw on the stem
Turn the stem on with even pressure until it seals.

Attach the hose
Push the silicone hose onto the connector and fit the mouthpiece.

Prepare the bowl
Pack the bowl, set it on the joint, add the HMD and coals.

The box holds everything for your first session apart from coals and tobacco. Add tongs separately.

Zieht wie von selbst
Man erkennt die Handschrift von alite sofort. Beim ersten Zug war ich überrascht, wie leichtgängig sie ist. Den Preis finde ich knapp an der Grenze dessen, was ich ausgeben wollte. Kann man machen.

Handy blow-off
Right after warming it up I blow off all the time, and the valve copes every time. I had to figure out where each seal goes with my borther, it wasn’t explained anywhere.
