The AO plug-on molasses catcher made of stainless steel does not need a joint. You plug it in between the bowl adapter and the bowl, and it catches molasses and tobacco directly below the bowl. It is about 6.5 cm tall, weighs around 0.3 kg and comes in Rose Gold, Gun Metal and Gold.
Function
A classic molasses catcher sits in the stem with a joint. The plug-on molasses catcher, on the other hand, sits directly below the bowl. Molasses and tobacco running out of the bowl end up in the catcher instead of in the stem. The bowl joint size of your hookah does not matter for this, because the catcher works without a joint.

Fit
It is plugged onto the bowl adapter, and the bowl then goes on top of the molasses catcher. This is why it is also suitable for hookahs whose stem has no 18/8 joint.
How to use it
- Plug the molasses catcher onto the bowl adapter.
- Put the bowl on the molasses catcher.
- Smoke your session as usual.
- Let everything cool down and unscrew the catcher to empty it.
Care and cleaning
Unscrew the molasses catcher and rinse the parts with water. For dried-on molasses, use a little hookah cleaner or washing-up liquid. Dry the parts well before you put it back together.
