The Eleaf iVeni SE is a slim pod system with a built-in 1100 mAh battery and up to 35 watts. The device automatically adjusts the power to the coil in the pod. The pod holds 2 ml and has a mesh coil that is fixed in the pod. The Silver Black version combines silver and grey with black surfaces.
Battery and power
The battery is not replaceable and charges via USB-C with up to 2 A. The housing measures 109 × 24.8 × 14.7 mm. You do not set the power yourself: the chip reads the resistance of the pod and selects the wattage itself. Protection against short circuit, overcharging and undervoltage is also included.
Pod and coils
The iVeni pods come with 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. The device works at about 32 W (0.4 ohm), 22 W (0.6 ohm), 15 W (0.8 ohm) and 11 W (1.2 ohm). The pod is transparent, so you can see the fill level from outside. It is filled through an opening with a silicone plug, and the pod stays on the battery device. The coil is part of the pod: if the vapor amount drops, you replace the whole pod.
You can find replacement pods with 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm among the pods with built-in coils.
Operation
The iVeni SE has draw activation: you draw on the mouthpiece and the device fires. A slider on the side controls the air supply. This puts you between a tight MTL draw and a more open RDL. The round indicator on the front shows the battery level in three colours: green, blue and red.
How to get started with the iVeni SE
- Charge the battery via the USB-C port. A cable is not included.
- Open the silicone plug on the pod and fill it to just below the maximum mark. Close the plug again.
- Let the pod stand for a few minutes so that the coil soaks. A dry pod burns.
- Set the airflow slider and take the first puffs short and calm. You do not set the power.

Geschmack kommt klar rüber
Geschmacklich kommt das Liquid klar und sauber rüber. Bei der Anleitung wurde gespart, das geht besser.

Überwiegend zufrieden
Komme von Einweggeräten und wollte endlich etwas zum Nachfüllen. Nach der Bestellung am Sonntagabend ging alles ganz fix. Nach einer vollen Ladung mit 1100 mAh vergeht eine ganze Weile bis zum nächsten Kabel. In Silber wirkt das Gerät schlicht und unaufdringlich. Selbst abends auf der Terrasse, wenn alles still ist, hört man den Zug kaum. Bei hellem Licht muss ich genauer hinsehen, um den Ladestand zu erkennen.

Angenehme Haptik
Die Oberfläche fühlt sich angenehm an, weder glitschig noch rau. Am Dienstag bestellt, schon am nächsten Tag geliefert. Auch mit meinem Kumpel unterwegs spüre ich das Gewicht in der Tasche kaum. Nach dem zweiten Abend fühlt sich die Bedienung endlich selbstverständlich an.
