RandM - Tornado - Digital Box - Refillable Pod Kit - Green Orange

The RandM Tornado Digital Box Refillable Pod Kit is a pod mod with a built-in 800 mAh battery and a digital display. The fitted empty pod holds 10 ml and has a fixed 0.9 ohm mesh coil. The airflow is adjusted on the side and charging is via USB-C. In the Green Orange variant, the body has a gradient from green to orange.

Battery and power

The battery is built in and charges via USB-C. According to retailers, it is fully charged in about 30 to 45 minutes. A digital display shows the battery level. According to retailers, the device is draw-activated.

Pod and coils

The empty pod holds 10 ml and has a fixed 0.9 ohm mesh coil. The coil cannot be replaced separately. According to retailers, you can refill a pod up to twice; after that you replace it. Only the empty pods of the Tornado Digital Box fit, sold in packs of 2. Tornado Pro pods do not fit. You will find both series in the RandM pod devices.

Operation

You draw on the mouthpiece and the device starts. The airflow is adjusted on the side: closed gives a tighter draw, open a more airy one. The digital display on the front shows you the battery level.

Getting started with the Digital Box

1. Charge the battery via USB-C before first use.
2. Open the filling hole of the pod and pour in the e-liquid slowly. Do not fill the pod to the brim so that an air chamber remains.
3. Close the hole again and fit the pod into the device.
4. Wait two or three minutes so that the mesh coil soaks through.
5. Adjust the airflow and start with a few short puffs.

Frequently asked questions

Is a charging cable included?

Retailers do not give consistent information on this; one of them states explicitly that it is not included in the delivery. Charging is via the USB-C port.

Do Tornado Pro pods fit?

No. The Digital Box uses its own empty 10 ml pods. Pods from the Tornado Pro, Big Puff and other RandM series are not interchangeable.

How many times can I refill a pod?

According to retailers, up to twice. If the draw or the vapour clearly decreases, the coil is worn out and you replace the pod.

What does the digital display show?

It shows the battery level. Retailers disagree on whether the puff count is also displayed.
