The Uwell Caliburn G5 Lite SE is built slim and flat. A fixed 1,600 mAh cell runs the device, with a 35 W ceiling. A faux-leather panel covers the front, the airflow slider runs along one edge; buttons and screen are left out on purpose.

Side filling without removing the pod

The GPP pod has a silicone cap on its side covering the fill port, so the GPP pod never has to come out for a refill. The slider and turning the pod set the draw anywhere from MTL to RDL.

Coil fixed in the GPP pod

The 0.6 ohm mesh element belongs to the GPP pod for good. Once taste drops off, a new GPP pod goes in and snaps into place on its magnets.

Charge
Plug in a USB-C cable you own and charge the G5 Lite SE.
Fill
Open the silicone cap on the side, add liquid and close the cap.
Wait
Pause briefly so the mesh in the GPP pod soaks through.
Adjust
Set the slider to a tight position first and open it step by step.

Is a charging cable included?

No. Any standard USB-C lead from your drawer will do.

Does the pod have to come off for filling?

No. The fill port sits under the silicone cap on the side; the pod stays in place.

How is the battery level shown?

In four stages: green 75 to 100 %, blue 50 to 74 %, yellow 25 to 49 %, red below.

Which protections are built in?

Cut-off after six seconds of continuous draw plus protection against short circuit, overcharge, deep discharge and overheating.

bin angetan

nach den ersten tagen wirkt das gehäuse noch wie am ersten abend. der airflow lässt sich fein einstellen, so finde ich schnell meinen zug. nächstes mal wieder hier.

Schicke Farbe

Meine ehrliche Meinung nach zwei Wochen. Nicht meine erste Bestellung davon und sicher nicht die letzte. Dank Side Fill ist das Nachfüllen in ein paar Sekunden erledigt. Mit 1600 mAh an Bord hält es auch mit meiner Freundin auf Tour gut mit. Farblich trifft das Grau genau das, was die Fotos versprochen haben. Wenn ich was bemängeln müsste: etwas viel Verpackungsmaterial für so eine kleine Sendung.
