The Vaporesso Armour Ultra is a mod with a built-in 5500-mAh battery and 5 to 100 W of power, supplied with the iTank T. The tank holds 6 ml, is top-filled and uses GTi dual-mesh coils for DL draws. The housing is protected against dust and water to IP68 and IP69K. The Storm Blue variant has a blue housing.
Battery and power
The battery is built in and charges via USB-C at 5 V and 2 A or 3 A. Power is adjustable from 5 to 100 W. VW, Pulse, Eco and Boost modes are available, as well as temperature control for nickel, stainless steel and titanium. A 0.96-inch TFT colour display shows the settings. In addition to IP68 and IP69K, the housing meets the MIL-STD-810H standard. The mod measures around 90.7 × 37.6 × 31 mm.
Tank and coils
The iTank T has a glass insert and attaches to the mod's 510 thread. To fill it, slide the tank cap open and fill from the top. Airflow is adjusted at the top-airflow ring. The kit includes two GTi Dual Mesh Coils: 0.2 ohm (pre-installed) for 60 to 75 W and 0.4 ohm for 50 to 60 W.
Operation
The Armour Ultra is designed for DL. In VW mode you set the power yourself; with GTi coils, the device can select it automatically. The mod has a 510 thread. You can find more kits and pod systems from the brand among the Vaporesso devices.
Getting started with the Vaporesso Armour Ultra
- Charge the battery via USB-C.
- Fill the tank with liquid from the top.
- Leave the coil for a few minutes to let the cotton soak. This prevents scorching (dry hits).
- Start at low power within the coil's wattage range and increase gradually.
- Adjust the airflow on the tank.
