The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 is a pod mod with a built-in 3200 mAh battery, up to 80 watts and a 0.96-inch colour display. The kit includes two pods, each holding 5 ml: a DL pod with a GTX dual mesh coil and an MTL pod. Filled from below. This version has a Red body.
Battery and power
The battery is built in. Charging is via USB-C at 5 V and 2 A. The AXON chip regulates up to a maximum of 80 watts and offers Eco, Smart and Pulse modes. In Smart mode, the device automatically detects GTX coils. The body measures around 108 × 32 × 26 mm.
Pod and coils
The Luxe XR Pods are made of PCTG and each hold 5 ml. Fill them from below; a silicone plug closes the opening. They attach magnetically to the mod. The GTX coils are mesh coils designed for replacement, not rebuilding. The device works with resistances from 0.15 to 1.2 ohm. You can find more pod systems from the manufacturer under Vaporesso pod devices.
- GTX Dual Mesh Coil 0.2 ohm in the DL pod, around 45 to 60 watts
- GTX Mesh Coil 0.8 ohm in the MTL pod, around 12 to 16 watts
Also compatible are the new-version Luxe XR Max empty pods, all GTX coils and Luxe X Pods with a Corex 2.0 coil.
Operation
The device has a fire button but no draw activation. Five clicks turn it on or off, three clicks open power selection, and two clicks open the menu. A button lock prevents accidental firing. The colour display shows the main readings; RGB LEDs indicate device status. The slider on the side provides continuously adjustable airflow from MTL to DL.
Getting started with the Luxe XR Max 2
- Fully charge the battery via USB-C.
- Fill the desired pod from below and close the silicone plug.
- Let the coil soak for a few minutes until the cotton is saturated. Otherwise there is a risk of scorching.
- Attach the pod magnetically and turn on the device with five clicks.
- Start at low power within the coil's wattage range and increase it if needed.
- Adjust draw resistance with the airflow slider.
