Vaporesso - Xros 5 - Kit - Blue

The Vaporesso XROS 5 is a stick-format pod system with a built-in 1,500 mAh battery and up to 30 watts. In the EU version the COREX 3.0 pods hold 2 ml, have a fixed mesh coil and are filled from the top. The kit contains two pods of 0.6 and 0.8 ohm. Housing colour of this version: blue.

Battery and power

The battery is built in and charges via USB-C at up to 3 A. The device delivers a maximum of 30 watts. With 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 ohm pods you choose between the Eco, Normal and Power levels. If a 0.4 ohm pod is in the device, you set the power from 15 to 30 watts in 0.5-watt steps. The aluminium body measures around 120.8 × 24.5 × 14.5 mm.

Pod and coils

The pods are made of PCTG and the coil is fixed in the pod. If the draw weakens or tastes burnt, replace the whole pod. The pod is held magnetically and filled from the top. The device takes all XROS pods with 2 or 3 ml and resistances from 0.4 to 1.2 ohm.

In the kit, a 0.6 ohm pod is pre-installed in the device and a second 0.8 ohm pod is included. Both are designed for restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) draws. You will find replacement pods under pods with atomiser, and the other devices from the brand in the Vaporesso pod systems.

Operation

The XROS 5 has draw activation and a fire button. The 0.88-inch colour display shows the battery level and power level, and six themes are available. Five clicks on the button switch the device on and off and three clicks open the power selection. The button can be locked. You adjust the draw resistance continuously with the airflow slider on the side.

How to get started with the XROS 5

1. Charge the battery via USB-C.
2. Fill the pod from the top (top-fill).
3. Let the coil soak for a few minutes so the cotton is saturated. Otherwise there is a risk of dry hits.
4. Switch the device on with five clicks.
5. Start with the Eco level and only then move to Normal or Power.
6. Set the draw resistance with the airflow slider.
