The format of charcoal cubes is described by their edges. An assignment to 25 millimetres is therefore about the size of the piece, not the weight of the packaging. Different packs can contain the same format. Conversely, a similar box size says nothing about the cubes inside.
Match the stated dimensions against the intended surface of your HMD or chimney screen. How many pieces fit on it depends on its shape. The numerical value gives no general recommendation for a particular bowl size or tobacco variety. For that, the whole setup and the notes on the components used are relevant. Also check the charcoal type and net contents on the individual product. A change of format is not merely a colour or packaging variant, but alters the dimensions of the pieces actually laid on.
