With the glass value matt, the link with clear stands out: most models on this page carry both values. The glass then combines clear and matt areas; the product image shows how they are arranged. Occasionally, black or brown is added as a glass value.
Matt or frosted?
Besides matt, the glass attribute also contains frosted. Both describe a surface that is not clearly see-through, but they are separate values with different brands: matt is entered for Steamulation here, frosted mainly for WOOKAH. If you want to see both, select them together in the filter.
In terms of material, the same applies to matt glass as to clear glass: it is dense, conducts heat weakly, and abrupt temperature changes are best avoided. Hookahs with matt glass are available from brands including Steamulation.
