Hookain Basic Smash is a Virginia hookah tobacco, 50 g content. Flavour: mint and basil.
Flavour of Basic Smash
Mint and basil. The profile is fresh, minty and sweet. A similar herbal tone can be found in other flavours with basil.
Base tobacco and cut
The base tobacco is Virginia Leaf, flavoured with natural aromas. The cut is a fine phunnel cut that also works in multi-hole bowls. The moisture is even.
Bowl and heat
You pack Hookain in a phunnel or a multi-hole bowl; the tobacco spreads easily in the bowl. In the scene the rule is: pack it fluffy, cover it with aluminium foil or an HMD, let the charcoal burn through completely and take your time to light up the bowl. If the session gets too hot and too fast, less tobacco or looser packing helps.

Braucht Feingefühl
Nach dem zweiten Abend hab ich den Dreh raus, am Anfang war die Hitze aber heikel. Auf das Paket musste ich deutlich länger watren als angegeben.

Nearly there
Wanted a change from my usual blend. As an occasional smoker I find 50 g about right. Mint sits well alongside basil, neither takes over. Arrived sooner than announced. To me it leans a bit too much towards flavouring. Update after a few evenings: the pack keeps it reliably fresh.

A bit too sweet
I sadly never warmed to it. Considering the price I'm rather disappointed. A touch too sweet for me personally. Not for me, but maybe for others.
