Loyal Dap #3: Virginia shisha tobacco from Germany, 20 g. Flavour: double apple, fruity with a light aniseed note. Bowl set-up, heat and questions about the variety.
Flavour of Dap
Dap stands for double apple, the classic of red and green apples with a light aniseed note. Fruity, slightly spicy and without chill. More tobacco with this flavour: Double apple shisha tobacco.
Virginia Leaf from Germany
Loyal comes from Germany and relies on Virginia Leaf, called Blonde Leaf in the scene. The tobacco is finely cut and moist; you put it straight from the pack into the bowl. You will find the other numbers under Loyal shisha tobacco.
Bowl and heat
In the scene, double apple is gladly smoked in a clay bowl or Phunnel with HMD. Fill loosely to just below the rim and give the bowl a few minutes to light. The aniseed note comes through more strongly the hotter the bowl runs.

Lasts the whole session
Stays consistent over the whole session. Even as a beginner I got the bowl right first time, and the evening with friends went without any fixing. I’ve been trying different setups since the start of the month, and with an HMD it runs most reliably for me.

Verträgt Hitze gut :)
Bin Gelegenheitsraucher und bewerte eher aus Laiensicht. Rundherum gelungen. Hält auch bei kräftiger Hitze gut dagegen. Seit knapp zehn Tagen nehme ich eher diese als meine alten Sorten. Kein Zuckerschock, eher eine feine, unaufdringliche Süße. Fünf Sterne von mir.

One star off
I'm a regular here and wasn't let down this time either. Rounded finish that never turns bitter. For the price I expect quite a lot. A small deduction, nothing more.
