The Uwell Caliburn G4 Pod is the replacement pod for the Caliburn G4 series. It holds 3 ml, has a built-in mesh coil and is filled from the side. A pack contains 3 pods, with a choice of 0.4 ohm, 0.6 ohm or 0.9 ohm.
Resistances and power
The lower the resistance, the more open the draw. Retailers specify the coils as follows:
- 0.4 ohm: DL (direct lung draw), optimised for 35 watts
- 0.6 ohm: RDL (restricted direct lung draw), optimised for 25 watts
- 0.9 ohm: MTL (Mouth to Lung), optimised for 15 watts
The coil is fixed inside the pod. When it is worn out, replace the whole pod.
Compatible devices
The pods are designed for the Uwell Caliburn G4 series including the Caliburn G4 and G4 Mini. Rotating the pod by 180 degrees inside the device switches between a tighter and more open draw.
How to fit the pod
- Fill the pod through the side opening and keep an eye on the fill level.
- Leave it for a few minutes until the cotton in the coil is saturated. This prevents scorching (dry hits).
- Insert the pod into the mod; it is held magnetically.
- Start at low power within the coil's wattage range and adjust the airflow by rotating the pod.
