The value 0.6 Ohm states the electrical resistance of the heating coil in the atomiser head. Together with the battery voltage, it determines how much power reaches the wire.
What resistance means technically
- Power: At the same voltage, more current flows through a lower resistance and the power rises. A higher resistance accordingly works with less power.
- Battery: More power means higher energy demand, so the battery runs down faster.
- Draw style: Whether a head is designed for mouth-to-lung (MTL) or direct-lung (DL) draws is set by the manufacturer. The recommended power in watts is usually printed on the head or the packaging.
